Off Peak Membership Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Grass Hoppers Off Peak Annual Memberships. By purchasing or using a membership, the purchaser and all named authorised adults agree to these terms.

Membership eligibility

Each Off Peak Annual Membership is issued to one named child. A separate membership must be purchased for every child the customer wishes to cover.

A membership cannot be shared, transferred to another child or used to book admission for another family.

Membership validity

The membership is valid for the period shown in the customer’s booking confirmation or Digitickets account.

Memberships can be used at all three Grass Hoppers play locations during eligible off peak sessions, subject to availability, opening times and any applicable exclusions.

Off peak admission

The membership provides admission for the named child during eligible off peak sessions.

Peak, weekend and other excluded sessions are not included. If a customer selects a session that is not included, the normal ticket price will be charged.

Off peak dates and times may vary by location and may be changed when reasonably necessary. The applicable price or member discount will be displayed during the booking process.

Booking each visit

Purchasing a membership does not automatically reserve admission to a play session.

Customers must book a timed member ticket for every intended visit. This applies even where the customer holds a valid membership and includes visits to a different Grass Hoppers location.

All bookings are subject to availability and venue capacity. Membership does not guarantee admission to a particular location, date or session.

Booking member tickets

To access included member tickets, customers must sign in to the Digitickets account used to purchase the membership.

Customers can sign in using the Book member tickets button or the account login icon on the ticketing website. Once signed in, the Off Peak Membership Ticket will appear when it is available for the selected session.

The number of member tickets booked must not exceed the number of eligible named children attending.

Authorised adults

When purchasing a membership, the customer must provide the child’s full name and the full name of at least one authorised adult. A second authorised adult may also be added.

Only a named authorised adult may use the membership to bring the child to a session. The membership and its benefits cannot be shared with unnamed adults or other families.

Up to two accompanying adults may be included with each eligible child’s member ticket, subject to the conditions displayed during booking. Any additional adults may require a separate paid ticket.

Identification and admission checks

A named authorised adult may be asked to provide suitable proof of identity on arrival.

The team may also check the customer’s booking confirmation and membership details before admitting the party.

If the attending adult cannot provide satisfactory identification when requested, or the booking details do not match the membership, admission may be refused.

Accurate customer information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all names and other information supplied when purchasing the membership are complete and accurate.

Customers must not deliberately provide false or misleading information or attempt to alter membership details to allow another person or family to use the membership.

Misuse

Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sharing or transferring a membership
  • Booking member tickets for a child who is not the named member
  • Booking sessions for another family
  • Allowing an unauthorised adult to use the membership
  • Making more member bookings than the number of eligible children attending
  • Providing false or misleading customer information
  • Repeatedly reserving sessions without intending to attend

Grass Hoppers reserves the right to investigate suspected misuse and to suspend or cancel a membership where there are reasonable grounds to believe it has been misused.

No refund will be provided where a membership is cancelled because of deliberate misuse, except where required by law.

Cancellations and changes to session bookings

Session bookings remain subject to the cancellation and amendment terms shown during checkout.

Customers who can no longer attend should cancel or amend their booking, where permitted, so that the spaces can be made available to other families.

Venue changes and closures

Grass Hoppers may change opening times, session times, capacity limits or available facilities where reasonably necessary for operational, safety or maintenance reasons.

A location or session may occasionally need to close or be cancelled. Where this happens, affected customers will be given information about any available rebooking options.

Customer behaviour and venue rules

Membership holders and accompanying adults must follow the applicable Grass Hoppers admission, safety and behaviour rules.

Grass Hoppers may refuse admission or ask a customer to leave where this is reasonably necessary to protect customers, team members or property. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

Personal information

Personal information provided in connection with a membership will be used to administer the membership, manage bookings, confirm eligibility and help prevent misuse.

Customer information will be handled in accordance with the Yorkshire Garden Centres privacy policy.
